Welcome to the 2024 edition of our annual Food Bank food and donation drive!  While it's hard to believe Thanksgiving is almost upon us, we can all appreciate the tough times people all around us are going through and the need to help out so that everyone can enjoy a festive holiday season.  Our goal this year again is $1000 in donations plus the food we all bring to donate in the boxes located around the Department.  Please feel free to share the link and spread the word outside of the Department if you know of others looking to join in as well.  We'll wrap it all up on Monday, November 25th at our annual potluck to celebrate Thanksgiving and all of the college football rivalries at the end of the year.  Thank you for all that you do for the kids in our region all year and especially for the generosity you show to those less fortunate every fall - it makes a difference!

Please consider supporting our team by making a donation. The Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank helps provide nourishing meals to thousands of individuals and families each year in our community. In partnership with hunger-relief programs across eight counties, the Foodbank and its network are making a difference for families facing hunger.

As inflation continues to impact local families, the demand for food assistance is higher now than during the pandemic. Some families are forced to make difficult decisions, like choosing to pay for groceries, rent, utilities and other basic necessities. Thankfully, individuals can turn to the Foodbank and its network of partners in their time of need.
